Also on the ballot are two constitutional amendments:

Missouri Constitutional Amendment No. 1 Amend the constitution to allow places were individuals, corporations, organizations, and associations provide childcare outside of the child’s home to be exempt from property tax

Missouri Constitutional Amendment No. 4 Amend the constitution to authorize laws ed before Dec. 31, 2026, that increase minimum funding for police force established by a state board of police commissioners to ensure such police force has additional resources to serve communities. Would authorize Kansas City ed law from 2022.

St. Louis City

On the St. Louis City Democratic ballot are two candidates for the St. Louis Sheriff and two candidates for the St. Louis City Treasurer.

St. Louis County

In St. Louis County, on the Democratic ballot, there are contested races for the District 2 and District 4 St. Louis County Council seats.

On the Republican ballot, the St. Louis County Council District 6 seat has two candidates.

Some of the propositions on St. Louis County ballots are:

City of Calverton Park – Proposition 1 Can the city be authorized to increase its current ad valorem property tax on real and personal property up to a maximum of .60 per $100 of assessed value?

School Dist. Of Jennings – Proposition J Approval for school district to boron $9M to improve schools district-wide. If approved, adjusted debt service levy would remain unchanged.

Monarch Fire Protection Dist. – Proposition A Authorize to levy an additional tax in the general tax levy of not more than .19 per $100 of assessed valuation to improve fire, rescue & emergency medical services.

St. Charles County

Propositions on the ballots include:

Wentzville Fire Protection District – Proposition P Shall the Wentzville Fire Protection District, for the purposes of improving emergency services, replacing outdated firefighter gear, firefighting vehicles and more life-saving equipment issue general obligation bonds for $35 million.

New Melle Fire Protection District – Proposition Staffing Shal the directors of the New Melle Fire Protection District be authorized to levy an additional tax of not more than $0.28 per $100 of assessed valuation for the purpose of funding the district’s operation, including increasing the number of professional firefighters and firefighter paramedics to staff and operate an additional firehouse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, thus reducing emergency response times?

New Melle Fire Protection District – Proposition Fire Shall the New Melle Fire Protection District issue general obligation bonds for $6 million to acquire real property, construction, renovate, improve equip and furnish fire stations and related facilities, and replacing outdated firefighting vehicles and equipment with technologically advanced lifesaving firefighting trucks, vehicles and other lifesaving equipment.

Old Monroe Fire Protection District – Proposition Fire Should the Old Monroe Fire Protection District issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $3.1 million for the purpose of acquiring real property, construction, renovating, improving, equipping and furnishing fire stations and related facilities, and replacing outdated firefighting vehicles and equipment.

City of Flint Hill – Proposition A

Shall the city limits of the City of Flint Hill be extended to embrace and include all that part of the county of St. Charles consisting of 48.75 acres, more or less, and generally located east of the city’s current boundaries and adjacent to Mchugh Road and as more specifically described in ordinance No. 2024-17 of the City of Flint Hill.
