Battlehawks kicker signs with Cleveland Browns practice squad

ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) -- St. Louis Battlehawks kicker Andre Szmyt was signed to the practice squad of the Cleveland Browns, the UFL announced Tuesday.
Szmyt connected 19 of 21 field goal attempts for the Battlehawks in 2024. He made a team-record 61-yard field goal against the Birmingham Stallions this past season.
The 26-year-old was a product of Syracuse. The Battlehawks will retain Szmyt’s rights if he returns to the UFL, a team spokesperson said.
