First Alert 4 celebrates third year of 4YOU

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - First Alert 4 is honored to serve its viewers through its 4YOU initiative for a third year.

4YOU’s mission is to add volume to the voices working to better our region.

How does it work?

Each quarter, First Alert 4 partners with a local charity or non-profit to raise awareness through a unique station-wide effort. This includes news and digital coverage, marketing and promotional campaigns, fundraisers, sales , and more.

“First Alert 4 is deeply dedicated to serving our communities in a meaningful way,” First Alert 4 General Manager JD Sosnoff said. “Through combining our station resources in 4YOU, we are shining a spotlight on deserving organizations doing truly incredible things. In turn, our hope is to improve thousands of lives in our local neighborhoods.”

Since launching in 2023, 4YOU has partnered with:

“The awareness the 4YOU campaign raised about the organization and the work we do was huge. We had sponsors, donors, and volunteers reach out offering after seeing us on KMOV,” Abigail Bosslet, Director of Marketing and Community Engagement for Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis, said. “Additionally, we have had several families that were not previously engaged with us come and participate in events and programs after seeing the segments.”

“We got an immense amount of exposure and can further our mission to help children in St. Louis because of 4YOU,” Angela Hutchings, Marketing and Communications Specialist for Friends of Kids with Cancer, said. “We made some great friends along the way and are grateful for the continued from the 4YOU team and all those at First Alert 4.”

The next charity to be highlighted in the 4YOU initiative is Prevent+Ed. The organization is celebrating 60 years in St. Louis in 2025. Prevent+Ed works to reduce or prevent the harms of alcohol and other drug use through education, intervention and advocacy.

“4YOU is close to everyone’s heart at First Alert 4,” Sosnoff said. “We look forward to serving many more local charities in the years to come.”
