WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An employee of a Webster Groves daycare is accused of child molestation.

Christopher Titus was working at Here We Grow Early Care and Education in Webster Groves when he allegedly molested a child under the age of 12. Court documents state the abuse happened at the daycare between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 31, 2024.

According to investigators, when questioned by police, Titus itted to the crime.

Titus is charged with two counts of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy with a person less than 12 years old and two counts of child molestation.

Here We Grow in Webster Groves is one of 3 locations.

The daycare’s latest Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Office of Childhood Group Home and Center Inspection Report was completed in October of 2024.

It states the center was in violation for criminal background results being older than 5 years for an employee, a general requirement.

Inspection reports confirm Titus taught multiple children under the age of 5.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone who believes their child may have been a victim should call St. Louis County Police at 314-615-5400.
