Earth Day festivities held Saturday in Forest Park

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Visitors and vendors descended on Forest Park this weekend to promote green and sustainable living for Earth Day.
Earth Day was on Tuesday, but many celebrations were held over the weekend. In Forest Park, the annual festival brought hundreds of people out to learn about businesses and organizations that promote earth-friendly goods and services.
The holiday began as a movement in the 1970s to address pollution and work for change.
