Man killed in Jennings; police believe road rage may have been a factor

A man was killed in a shooting Saturday in Jennings that may have been the result of a road rage incident, according to police.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (First Alert 4) -- A man was killed in a shooting Saturday in Jennings that may have been the result of a road rage incident, according to police.

The St. Louis County Police Department responded to the 8700 block of Jennings Station Road around 2:20 p.m. and found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The victim was later identified as 21-year-old Caleb Matlock.

In a press release, the police department said preliminary investigation showed the shooting may have happened after a road rage incident. No suspects have been arrested.

No other details on the shooting have been released.
