Some North County Spectrum customers experienced outage due to cut fiber optic line

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A cut fiber optic line caused an outage Saturday in parts of north St. Louis County.

According to Spectrum, the line was cut as an act of vandalism and crews were out Saturday working to make repairs. Spectrum did not provide information on how many customers were impacted by this situation.

Spectrum is offering up to a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who was responsible for cutting the line.
