IndyCar driver races go-karts with area kids living with diabetes

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - We are just days away from some of racing’s best taking to the track in Madison County for this year’s Bommarito 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway.
On Thursday, one of the IndyCar drivers went head-to-head with more than a dozen area kids racing go-karts.
This race isn’t about getting the checkered flag, it’s about winning the race of life, all battling the same disease.
